Winster Guisers

4th, 20th, 21st Dec - 9.45pm-ish

Appearing in our bar on three evenings this year; they are a traditional group who present a play lasting around 15 minutes - something that has been going on for hundreds of years - called "mummers" in some parts of the country.

They raise over £1000 for charity each year.

The horse is a bit scary...

Sorry we are fully booked for meals on those evenings, but do call in from around 9.30pm to see them perform in the bar.

We usually are closed on a Tuesday but will be opening our bar from 5pm

Boxing Day Quiz

Thursday 26th December - 9pm

Allan presents his eagerly awaited general knowledge quiz from around 9pm.

Enter on the evening - £1 per head - and teams of up to four are allowed.

Proceeds go to local charity each year. Enter on the night, all welcome.

A devilish quiz prepared by Shaun - not only popular songs but also what was the advert on TV which featured that music?

As usual proceeds to charity, £1 per head entry and teams of up to four.

New Year's Eve

Normally closed on a Tuesday evening (!) however we will be open from 7.30 for drinks, sorry the kitchen is closed though.
